Heal Your Relationship with Food | Intuitive Eating

Are you sick of dieting and constantly thinking about food? Have you lost your hunger/fullness cues? Intuitive Eating is a method used to heal your relationship with food to get you back to a place where you can listen to your body's cues and slowly build up to thinking about nutrition. Our sessions will start with a baseline nutrition assessment to get an idea of where you are with you nutrition. After the initial assessment, we will move into nutrition education and goal setting. With me, you will explore the 10 principles of intuitive eating and/or work towards nutrition and lifestyle goals to improve your quality of life. I have been a nutrition counselor at Virginia Tech practicing Motivational Interviewing for 8 months, counseling a variety of clients and encouraging Intuitive Eating when appropriate. I am currently a Senior in a Nutrition Program at Virginia Tech and plan to finish my Masters of Science next year and go on to become a Registered Dietitian.
