Food As Medicine

What we eat plays a large role in our health. It can contribute to chronic conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cardiovascular disease. A healthy diet also provides us with the energy we need to live our best life. As many of us know, it can be difficult to make sustainable changes in what we eat, as food can be addictive, and can be influenced by our emotions, our environment, and our beliefs. Combining nutrition education with health and wellness coaching, I can help you understand how certain foods benefit your health, while walking with you through your journey of transitioning to a healthy sustainable diet. Small steps can lead to big changes in your health!
