What is EFT Tapping?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), or Tapping, may be the solution for helping you manage and release your stress and anxiety. It's an easily learned self-healing mind-body tool that you can do anywhere, and at any time.

EFT Tapping is an energy psychology modality and a clinically proven method based on making cognitive shifts through the exposure of negative emotions, paired with the ancient Chinese practice of acupressure, thus linking emotion and physiology.

Mostly all stress affects the body in some way; whether it shows up as a headache, a pain in our neck and shoulders or a tinge in our stomach. Tapping on acupressure points works to calm our central nervous system, which is the key communicator of stress messages to the brain and body.

How Does It Work?

In a relatively short amount of time, it effectively releases fears, phobias, anxiety and stress. You'll use your fingers to lightly "tap" on a few acupressure points, while at the same time, you'll be guided to talk about and expose the emotional issue or belief behind your stress. Tapping helps to uncover the root of what's really activating your stress and either neutralizes or eliminates it.
